The performance appraisal, which is an integral part of the Scientific Management process, is used for administrative decisions, employee development and feedback, and research in determining an organization's effectiveness. Multirater, or 360-degree, feedback is a type of performance appraisal that combines traditional supervisor evaluations with feedback from other sources, such as peers, self, and subordinates.
